20th December This date holds a great significance for every Injun(Ex cadets of India squadron,NDA) As it is on this date that our most decorated INJUN, Col NJ Nair, AC,KC sacrificed his life and lead by example.
Every cadet standing in the Nair Lobby at India squadron while undergoing training looks into his eyes which are so full of resolute and courage. Making an internal promise to not to let squadron down in any event.
Col Neelakantan Jayachandran Nair Ashoka Chakra(P) , Kirti Chakra will forever remain in our hearts. His heroics are the first thing which are taught to an Injun the moment he enters the squadron. Injun was I born, Injun shall I die !!
