Simrat Sahota is the Host of the popular Youtube Channel-The Fauji Show . He cleared his NDA written examination and SS B interview securing AIR-214 in UPSC NDA/NA Examination . Subsequently, underwent Basic military training for three years at National Defence Academy, Pune.
Unfortunately due to a medical injury, he was discharged after completing three years of training. He then founded Zero Point, an online media agency and lead a team of motivated individuals to grow social media presence for his clients and various brands like Unacademy ,Disha Publications and Zomato.
Currently he is the host and the founder of The Fauji Show which aims at motivating the youth to join the Indian Armed Forces and giving them the correct guidance. The show has got more than 25 million views and 100k+ subscribers in the first year itself. All profits generated from the show go to Bharat ke Veer foundation. He has an audience of 250k+ followers/subscribers in total across all social media platforms.
In Jan ,2023 his podcast was selected as one of the Best Upcoming Podcast by Spotify and was therefore shortlisted for Spotify LevelUp Program. He was also awarded Silver Play Button from YouTube on achieving the milestone of 100,000 Subscribers.
He also possess B.Sc.(Comp. Sc.) degree from National Defence Academy which is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi and Saurashtra University.
Apart from being a 5 handicap golfer ,he is a numismatist and a philatelist. He is an extensive reader with a keen interest in military history and is a geopolitics geek with a special interest in Asia-Pacific region.
